My degree program had emphases in multicultural counseling and feminist psychotherapy for individual women, men and couples. I opened my practice in 1983 and have deep, broad experience partnering with people facing anxiety and depression; loss, chronic illness, relationship and work challenges and sexual identity. My post-graduate training includes seminars and classes on a variety of topics and modalities. Before I became a psychotherapist/Counselor I had an appointment of several years duration from the Washington State Arts Commission to teach poetry and other creative writing to students from second through twelfth grade and to provide training for teachers on creative thinking.
