About My Practice

In my practice, I enjoy offering kind, insightful, interactive counseling and psychotherapy to people who are experiencing depression or anxiety and to people who are facing loss or chronic illness or who are coming to terms with their sexuality, identity, or self-definition.

My aim is to partner with you in affirming your strengths and wisdom while working with you to outgrow patterns of self-defeat, negative thinking, and unkindness toward yourself. With gentle challenging, warmth, and often humor I will work with you toward your goals within the framework of Humanistic Psychology using cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, goal setting and other techniques, sometimes including journaling or art therapy.

“Working with Peggy is both grounding and refreshing. She offers a warm perspective, guidance, and plenty of space to work on whatever I'm trying to move through in the moment.”
